Dear Arrowhead Enthusiasts and Enthusianistas,
Please be informed that today we have managed the v5.0.0 release.
- Essential documentation coverage is 100%. It is currently
available at
- https://aitia-iiot.github.io/ah5-docs-java-spring/home/welcome/
If you are considering Arrowhead integration, you should not use
4.x but already go for 5.0.0.
- We have some very useful supporting doc as well under the
"Help" menu (More will come as time allows).
- Migration Guideline from v4 to v5 is not ready
unfortunately. We plan to finish it by September.
- As it was mentioned before the time need for the unit tests was
highly underestimated before, so the test coverage is not 100%.
- Common lib: ~95%
- ServiceRegistry: ~38%
- DynamicServiceOrchestration: ~90%
- ConsumerAuthorization: ~47%
- Authentication: 0%
- Blacklist: 0%
- The procedure of moving the repositories under the eclipse
organization is starting now.
- We already ran their license checking tool and no issue
was found.
- Download possibilities
- From the docs site
https://aitia-iiot.github.io/ah5-docs-java-spring/downloads/releases/
- Directly from GitHUB
https://github.com/Aitia-IIOT/ah5-core-java-spring/releases
https://github.com/Aitia-IIOT/ah5-blacklist-java-spring/releases
- Docker image we plan to have by September (if time
allows)
Moreover, we would like to encourage students and colleagues to
try the framework and report issues if any towards us. Issues are
expected to be reported here:
https://github.com/Aitia-IIOT/ah5-core-java-spring/issues
Best Regards,
Tamás & Rajmund & Katinka from AITIA
-- Also thanking the implementation to the AITIA crew, and the
conceptual work for the Eclipse Arrowhead roadmap and governing
boards across various projects,
Pal and Jerker
