Dear Adoptium community,
The Call for Proposals for Open Community Experience 2027 (OCX27) is now open. OCX27 takes place 13 to 15 April 2027 in Brussels, organised by the Eclipse Foundation.
Many of the systems discussed at OCX27 run on a Java runtime, and the Modern software development track has room for the work behind them. The program committee is looking for sessions such as:
- Java and JVM advancements, runtime technologies and performance
- Performance tuning, observability and benchmarking under real load
- Delivering enterprise-grade applications on open runtimes
If your talk is about how Eclipse Temurin is built, tested and shipped securely, the Cybersecurity & regulatory compliance track covers software supply chain security and the Cyber Resilience Act.
The committee wants talks grounded in real experience: a working implementation, a lesson learned the hard way, or practical knowledge other teams can use. First-time speakers are welcome.
Early bird deadline: 9 November 2026.
