Re: [wtp-releng] Two steps forward ... one step back?

I see from looking at HEAD that the JSF versioning issue must have "just missed" the build starting. Also, on my local machine all JUnits passed. So, I think build is good, but I will run once more, overnight ... and I'm sure all will look brighter in the morning. :)  [But, actually, I've heard the build server ... or at least eclipse.org infrastructure ... is at its busiest shortly after midnight ... presumably because of the psychology of everyone thinking that's a good quiet time to run their regularly occurring cron jobs :)

Do let us know if any of the failures indicate a "real" problem.

The 3.1.2 build finished up well and makes a good RC2 build.

The 3.2.0 build not so well. I checked, and the map files changed as expected (I think) but several more unit tests failed.
I know the server was busy, and some of the failures look like "busy server" failures we've seen before ... but, hard for me to tell.

So ... I'd like those with failing tests to report to this wtp-releng list if you'd like to force a rebuild? Anything to contribute to fix failures?  (that is, right away, so we could finish M5 as soon as possible on Friday)? Or, if we should just declare what we have and accept that some of our tests don't function well under stress?

If I don't hear anything soon, I may just try a rebuild overnight as sort of a sanity check but my guess is the build is good and we just have testing issues.

Much thanks,
