Well if Carl get's to do it, me too :)
So it sounds like we won't really have M build to declare until very
late today? Or Saturday? Or Monday? (depending on how much people are
working on the weekend?) What's the plan?
If it's late tonight or early tomorrow, fine ... but, if Sunday or
Monday, then I'd also like to get in another bug fix.
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=246287
<https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=246287>
The main reason for it's urgency isn't exactly that it's "blocking", but
that for such a simple fix, seems "correlated" to some odd,
should-be-unrelated JUnit failures
http://build.eclipse.org/webtools/committers/patches.php
<http://build.eclipse.org/webtools/committers/patches.php>
The failures probably are not related, but I'd like to confirm before
Monday ... so, will try putting the fix in our 3.0.2 build. (If they are
related, it probably indicates another error somewhere which has been
hidden by this bug ... that's why I'm a little worried).
So, let's say I'll do that Saturday morning ... unless someone declares
Carl's build tonight? ... or someone let's us know if it interferes with
some other plans or schedules. (In other words, I don't want to hold up
others ... but, I don't want to be held up either :)
(It would not require re-smoking anything ... if the odd JUnit's
failures do not re-appear :)
Just keeping you informed ...

RC1 M-3.0.2-20080904004259
________________________________
Folks,
I just committed/released the fix for
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=245645
<https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=245645> , which was
marked as blocking the Java EE smoke test. This change should only
effect the creation of beans when both an EJB and an EJB Client are
involved. (So only Java EE should need to retest with the new driver.)
FWIW,
