Subject: [wtp-pmc] Nomination for Elson Yuen as
new WTP PMC member and WTP PMC lead
It's my pleasure to nominate
Elson Yuen as a new member of WTP's PMC.
Elson has had a long history
with WTP, making large contributions to Server Tools. He has
lead the Server Tools project for several years.
He is active in the community
as a whole, and we would benefit greatly from his input on
the PMC board.
It is also with sadness that I
must step down from the WTP PMC lead role. My job
responsibilities at IBM have changed, and I can no longer
devote the time needed to properly perform the role of PMC
lead.
After discussion with the other
active PMC members, I nominate Elson Yuen as a very capable
successor. I feel that Elson will be an excellent choice to
keep the Web Tools Platform moving forward.
In our recent meeting, the
votes were unanimous, but wanted to make it official, so
please reply with your votes on both of these nominations.
