 Hello PMC Members!

Tonight I've got approval for TypeScript debugging contribution [1] from Eclipse IP Team [2]. The contribution allows adopters to add their mapping processors through the extension point in order to enable the debugging supportĀ  of TypeScript files (however is not limited only to TypeScript), by a mapping between a TypeScript file and its _javascript_ translation.

I know that it's not good to add new functionality/change API during M7 and later, but, otherwise, we'll condemn our adopters to wait for another couple of months for the release of Oxygen.1 as minimum.

From the point of view of JSDT, having the contribution applied for Oxygen M7 should not produce any limitations/changes in functionality/behavior because the contribution itself doesn't bring any mapping processors and, as such, it's code stays non-invoked during the execution in case of running the original WTP code without any mapping adoption added.

Given that said, would PMC members to give their votes for pushing the Contribution into WTP Oxigen M7 and NOT waiting for the start of Oxygen.1 development start?
