[wtp-pmc] Committer Nomination withdrawl for Benjamin Muskalla for webtoos - was intended for RAP instead

Dear WTP PMC and committers,

I have by accident nominated Benjamin Muskalla as a committer to the webtools project, I intended to nominate him for the RAP project. Sorry about that. I am not sure how to deal with this right now and if it is possible to withdraw the nomination.

I will keep you posted.

Regards,

Jochen

Jochen -- My apologies to you and Benjamin for any inconvenience.
Nothing prevents you from sending an "oops, sorry" message to the webtools committers as you would if you send email to the wrong list in an email-only election. A heads-up to their pmc would not be out of line either.

The remaining question is, should there be an official way to stop an unwanted election in progress so that the election component is removed from the portal without waiting seven days?

It seems reasonable to me but I have not thought through all of the policy implications. I will mention this to Bjorn and see what he thinks is an appropriate way to explore this idea. Best regards. -- Ward
