[wtp-dev] JavaEE / Common API Enhancement for m7

Hi All:

A bug our team has posted hasn't been acted on yet for a while. While 
I'm technically a committer, it's nice to get a review or some feedback 
on it before adding API, so if someone else on the javaee / common teams 
(carl / chuck?) could give it a look and express any concerns they have.
