RE: [wtp-dev] Deployment Descriptor tree help needed
|
Hi Hristo,
You might want to look into the extension
point org.eclipse.ui.navigator.navigatorContent
in the plugin org.eclipse.jst.j2ee.navigator.ui,
also look at the various Item Providers
classes such as WebAppItemProvider.

Subject: [wtp-dev] Deployment Descriptor tree help needed
Hi,
I'm improving the Deployment Descriptor subtree in project tree of Web
2.4 projects. But I have problem with understanding the structure and how
it works. Can somebody help me with description how nodes are added to
this tree when new one artefact is created in the web.xml file?
Originaly in this tree have group nodes: Filter
Mapping, Filters, Listener, References, Security, Servlet Mappings and
Servlets.
So, first I'm wondering is it possible these
group nodes to become more dynamic. E.g. when they are empty to be removed
from the tree, and to appear when first child node is added.
Best regards,
