RE: [wtp-dev] JEE Related Schemas (finally) distributed in WTP

I agree they both would be appropriate to include in that plugin.

But, since neither were part of the original source or IPZilla that covered the rest of these, it will take a new IPZilla from you to get clearance.

I'm assuming you have not yet gotten these cleared as any other part of your JSF IP process? I didn't see them the little I looked.  If they have
already been cleared, just give me the details.

If you do open an IPZilla, be sure to mention and link to the JSR's they are part of (127 and 252) since the JSR's usually have well documented
licenses, which I think are normally compatible with the EPL.

David,

JSF 1.2 is considered part of JEE 5, and so one could reasonably expect to see http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee/web-facesconfig_1_2.xsd included in the new plugin.

JSF 1.1 is not strictly part of JEE, but if it's not too much of a stretch, would also like to see http://java.sun.com/dtd/web-facesconfig_1_1.dtd included.

Thanks,

It may not be the oldest IPZilla (but the three older one's have all been closed as invalid :)

Beginning this week, the JEE related schemas and dtds will be in WTP builds.

The most obvious difference will be that the "accept license to cache" dialog should

no longer pop up.

I'm sending this note to this general wtp-dev list since we are adding this plugin very late in

the RC0 cycle so would appreciate if everyone could confirm it works correctly and

contains everything expected.

I named the plugin

  org.eclipse.jst.standard.schemas

And put the plugin into cvs at

  jst/components/j2ee/plugins/org.eclipse.jst.standard.schemas

It is built as part of the jst web core feature

  org.eclipse.jst.web_core.feature

I do leave the plugin "jarred" and all seems to work correct ...

for the tiny bit of testing I've done. But, I'm not sure, we may

have to put "platform:" in some of the URIs.
