Also consider using a downloadable servers. Downlodable servers are pretty much listed same way as other servers but since they are downloaded directly from your own update site you get more freedom on maintainance and updates.

Hi

We are a server vendor and would like to contribute our server
definition to the existing list. We have created a plugin using the
serverTypes and other needed extension points and are now testing it (we
are using ant tasks with Generic Server definition). Can someone commit
the code to the wtp cvs once we are done so that it is automatically
listed and our existing users do not have to download the plugin seperately.
