Re: [wtp-dev] Build Target
|
Naci,
When I said 4 zips I meant:
eclipse-SDK-3.1M3-linux-gtk.zip
emf-sdo-xsd-SDK-I200410220709.zip
GEF-SDK-3.1M3.zip
JEM-runtime-1.0.1.1.zip
+ wtp-XXXX.zip
All these zips are need to create a target that can actually run and also
be used as a "Target Platform" in Eclipse. Why can't we just bundle all of them
together?
Thanks

Build Target
Nirav,
You only need
wtp-XXXX.zip - It has everything (wst and jst
together).
wtp-sdk has the sources in addition to the runtime. wtp-wst
wtp-wst-sdk are web standard tools and it sources accordingly. You
can use it only if you do not want the jst stuff.
You do not need al of
them

Team,
Is there any
reason why we don't have a single zip to download that contains everything
needed for WTP. Right now 4 different zips need to be overlayed to create a
WTP build target, which is time consuming and also some times doesn't exactly
work as expected. I am suggesting that during a build process we should just
create a target that contains everything to make life a little
easier.
