Re: [wtp-dev] POLL: 3.0 or 3.1

Good idea, but if you're going to adopt the same rhythm,
Could be a way, but I have no definitive idea on that. In fact, I would like to hear other people involved, or not, in WTP. We thought being confortable with 8 weeks interval when starting WTP. But one can think that in February-March 2005, WTP may have a different speed with a basis of few already existing milestones.
Comments are welcome.

maybe you should consider adopting the same milestone numbers as well (which means you need to skip M2; Platform 3.1M3 is November 5). Not sure you always need an extra week given Erich's observation, i.e., if you freeze and test the same time as Platform hopefully any critical fixes will be shaken out by same time as Platform's.

To quote Erich Gama : "we freeze development 3-4 days before a milestone. However, when a milestone requires a critical fix which depends on an API change then we will make the API change."
...
Then, we have to adopt the 6 weeks milestones rythm of Eclipse 3.1. WTP milestones distance is currently 8 weeks.
