Hi all,
what is the status of this process? As far as I can see, Erik is still not a committer in the project yet.
We are in total blockage as Erik is the one who should upload the source code and as long he is not permitted, nothing will go forward.
Nobody of us expected that the processes in the Eclipse foundation are that slow and as Erik was on parental leave when we set up the project, he was no initial committer.
Can you please give us a short status and/or a perspective when we can expect to be able to proceed that is when Erik will be approved as committer – or what we can do to enable this?
Thanks & regards

Subject: Re: [wss-packer-dev] PMC Approval required for Committer Election for Erik Sköld on Eclipse Wheel Speed Sensor Signal Packer
Greetings Eclipse Automotive PMC.
This project has only recently been created and is still bootstrapping. AFAICT, they have not yet initiated the transfer of any code to the Eclipse project, so there is currently nothing on which a developer build a pattern of contribution
to use as the basis for a committer election.
In cases such as this, the EMO tends to consider it an oversight that the project team did not include the committer in the list of initial committers in the project proposal, and grants some latitude on the meritocracy requirement.
That is, from the EMO's perspective, approving this election aligns with our values in principle, and we recommend that you approve it.
We anticipate that the PMC may consider factors that we are not be aware of, and defer to your wisdom on the matter.
