Brent,
The initial document is only a very rough
beginning. I’d prefer to expand this document and also provide some
of the other information listed in the defect before putting it on the website
for public consumption. I’ll be working on the module developer
guide in the coming days and hope to have an initial draft ready for review by
the end of next week.
I am open to any suggestions you might
have regarding the packaging of API javadocs and guides. Is there a
particular doclet used for Eclipse project javadocs or just the standard one?

Trip,
Do you mind if I put this out on the web site? Do you have an HTML version? We
should start thinking about how to package javadoc and any API guides for web
site and in-eclipse consumption.

Stan,
Thanks for the
heads up on the document attachment. I have created a bugzilla defect (#155053)
to contain the initial document. Please let me know if you have any problems
retrieving it and I will send you a copy directly. If you have any specific
questions about API function or general structure, feel free to post them here
and I’ll try to answer them in good speed.

I am getting a
404 when trying to access the URL for the module developer
guide below.
If the guide came as an attachment, our mail server is
scrubbing it,
probably because of the file type. Can the file be sent with
a suffix other
than ".doc", maybe ".d" or something that might not flag
our
mail server?
Thanks,
Stan Rivera
