Subject: [volttron-dev] Stolen and Possibly Malicious URL for volttron.org?
Importance: High
Hi Volttron Team,
BE CAUTIOUS FOLLOWING ANY URLS IN THIS MESSAGE!
A colleague of mine was recently looking over a report in which there was a description of the Volttron platform. In the report we provided a link to “volttron.org”, which I belive used to be a valid domain that was used by the Volttron
team?
Anyways, it looks like that domain has been overtaken by a dubious and possibly malicious gambling website. Be careful navigating to that link, im not convinced that it is not just straight up malicious, but I was curious if you had any
thoughts about how to address this, especially given all of the sources that likely point to that specific URL.
