Could a version of org.eclipse.jdt.core.compiler.batch be getting in the way?

P.S.
I believe @Override is indeed an invalid annotation when
applied to a method from an interface not a superclass.

I tried to change source.version to 1.6 but that
did not help. I had @Override annotation from
interface and that failed compilation.
Still did not help. Thoughts?
