However, I have found in

was also merged for Mars.2 as well (containing version 2.11.2).
No, it wasn't.
I can attest that the "EMF - Eclipse Modeling Framework SDK" feature, as of
release version 2.11.2.v20160208-0841, does not contain Ed's fix yet.
Note the wording in Bugzilla: "The changes are available in the Mars.2
release AND/OR (emphasis mine) the latest Neon milestone."
Well, this statement does in fact evaluate to true :)

codebase not to be compatible with EMF 2.12, as Gaben said the internal
change is incompatible with previous versions. However, I have found in

also merged for Mars.2 as well (containing version 2.11.2).
For me it is not clear now whether we are or are not compatible with EMF
2.11.2. Gaben, can you help deciding this?
