I am guessing you are trying to update a copy of uDig 1.1.x? The 52North WPS plugin has not been released for uDig 1.2 yet. Jesse is probably the best person to ask about that update site.

I tried to install “Ganymede log4j”. I know that the plugin folder gets not scanned, but installing with the Update Manger neither works (uDig doesn’t recognize it as a plugin). Does anybody know how to do that?
Robert there is a WPS plugin for uDig 1.2 based on some work that happened at Refractions. It is available as a community module that can be built from source; I actually have some time to work on it in the next couple of weeks and sent a screen shot to the devel list a couple of weeks; thus far it is connecting to a 52North WPS server and a couple of others.
