[udig-users] Text tool or text box tool?

Hello uDig users!

My name is Manning and I've just subscribed to this list.  I live in 
Cincinnati in the United States.

Quick question (which may have been answered in previous threads): Does 
uDig have a tool that allows me to add text to a map?  I have a street 
map in uDig, and I want to label a few of the streets.  Can't seem to 
find a way to do that though.  Any ideas?
