[udig-users] How to manage projects and layouts

Dear udig users,

I have two questions/questions, that maybe have been already solved in the new version...

1. How to manage projects: shall I always save a new project in the default "workspace" folder into the udig one? Infact I usually in a different workspace folder and if I save a project, then I colse it, and then I re-open it, all the layers in the map are loaded but they have the red cross and they are not rendered, so I must delete all of them and drag and drop them again.

2. How can I create a project layout? I mean if I try to use "create a page to be printed", how can I understand which is the size of the page to be printed? I mean is there a way to print a "paper" drawing at a correct scale (1:10000, 1:100000?) as if I am using Autocad, or the only way is to export and image and scale it with autocad?
