Re: [udig-users] [Beegis-users] [udig-devel] BeeGIS - GPS Tool - Lon error
|
Hi,
Sorry for cross posting, I was just looking for help!
Since it is not clear, for me, where the problem resides, in BeeGIS or in uDIG?
I have decided to post on both!
Jody,
Thank you also for your help.
I've used the uDIG x86 installer for Windows, so there is no Debugger.

I agree with you, the problem seems to be on the BeeGIS NMEA parser.
I've used successfuly this Bluetooth GPS for several years with lots of GPS software!
> While you could correct for this by messing with the CRS definition
Also tried it, with WGS 84 UTM definitions. But couldn't get one that returns the correct lon value.

Hi Jody,
I have answered taking this to the beegis list only since it was related to gps.
I asked for a nmea file to make some tests.
This anyway raises some questions regarding interest of merging some lists.
Ok, I will stop here and put my question and proposal in a new mail.
Cheers,
Andrea
