Before Andrea represses us :-) One of the reasons we built uDig as an
excellent SDK for developers was so we would have a starting point for
commercial applications. I am not aware of any good alternatives in
this space for the Java developer; we created uDig in order to have an
alternative (thanks to the Canadian GeoConnection program - go
Canada).
