Re: [udig-users] uDig on External Hard Drive/Flash Drive

Hi,

uDig writes information to the uDig directory by default so the current user needs to be able to write to where ever uDig is installed. Information is also written to the uDig workspace and in the case of windows there is some information written to the user's temporary directories.

But yes uDig should run as long as the user has write access to the install directory. There are ways around these restrictions but by default it should work.

I am new to uDig and was wondering if it is possible to run uDig on a

Thanks!
