[udig-users] What I need tested.
|
Hi all,
I have uploaded the a new release:
http://udig.refractions.net/files/downloads/uDigJun07/
Since many things are tested perhaps we can focus on certain issues
that we worked on in the last week.
The most important thing to test is rendering. I made some changes so
that layers without a good crs will work better, but I haven't had
time to test all the parameters. For example what happens when you
set the CRS of one of the layers. What happens when you add WMS
layers, etc... So doing a bit more testing on rendering would be great.
Reshape - I fixed a bug on OSX that was made it nearly impossible to
use the Reshape dialog (OSX adds \r instead of \n) I also added the
ability to directly add the newly created layer to the map.
Verification that I haven't messed something up would also help...
Although according to the demo I didn't. But I haven't tested it on
Windows or linux.
New Layer Dialog - I have fixed the buttons on the Create Layer(New
Layer) dialog. So the add/delete attribute buttons should look better
now on hopefully all platforms. I have also modified the dialog so
that the current selection and the active map are used for finding the
default projection and geometry to show in the Dialog.
- I haven't fixed Andrea's report about the projection being lost
when new attributes are added yet. That will be later.
WMS PNG- Jody applied a fix so that PNG should work on windows when
requesting a layer. However that means we need to test:
1. Importing PNG (and other) based world+image files
2. Other formats when requesting WMS.
3. Test non-windows platforms.
4. Export to PNG
If people have time to test a few of these things I would greatly
appreciate it.
Thanks,
Jesse
