I'm a little confused as to what the difference is exactly. Is the
problem:
The CRS information being read from the Geotiff is being incorrectly
interpreted by uDig?
I think all uDig does in 1.1 at least, is try to read a tag with the
EPSG code and use that to create the CRS.
I've just downloaded the files you've posted and I will try to get it
to work. I am a little limited on time this week so I can't promise
resolution this week.

on a geotools module which isn't leveraging on our work on GDAL.
Do I must write to geotools list? I need only to know if UDig can
read properly a geotiff file or if gdal make a right crs assign work.
