[udig-users] Problem with native fonts

Hello,

I have a problem with Polish fonts support. When I create a layer
from PostGIS database i get characteristic letters printed properly.
But when I export the data to shapefile and create a layer from this .shp
some letters ( characteristic for Polish language ) change to strange signs.
Am I doing something wrong ( maybe coding page of shp )?
When I change the signs from inside uDIG it becomes ok until 
I restart the application.
