[udig-users] WFS-T and Geoserver 1.6.3

Hi,

I've recently tested uDig with Geoserver 1.6.3 and a bug has been  
introduced into Geoserver's XML parsing that causes problems with  
creating new features with uDig.  It is possible to edit features but  
not create new features.  For now you must use Geoserver 1.5.4 if you  
need to create new features through Geoserver.

The next release of Geoserver should have postgis editing fixed.

Remember if you are using Geoserver to edit a postgis, consider  
directly editing the postgis.  uDig has always had been able to  
directly edit postgis tables.
