There are some guidelines to follow and since some other applications
could need java, it has to be in a common path. They asked me if i
could split it into bin and lib, which is how a jre is really, so I
gave it a try and it worked properly. Udig shipps without jre inside.

I will tell this. It didn't happen to me.

Yes, I made the package, since it has to be a bzip2 and also it has to
be shipped with udig inside an apps folder, in order to fit in the
game.

Yes, I have to investigate also what that should be for.

This is still a todo for all the applications. But they will create
the scripts to do it for all applications.

Sorry, for now you have to use the bat file. I wanted to talk about it
with you. I thought adding the -vm argument to the udig.ini would
work, but it didn't for me. Are you able to get this work? i think it
doesn't take relative paths, could that be?
