[udig-devel] Release General Testing Procedure 
Startup -- failed!
- needed to remove org.eclipse.rcp feature and added again to the uDig product!? Thanks Jesse. 

1. click on the tutorial
Check, brought up help. Unsure if it is current.
Help is all marked (c) 2004, 2006 - so probably not current.

2. Open about
version number correct, 1.1-RC6
date range correct.
click on udig icon brings up one feature (called UDIG Plugin at version 1.1.0), this feature only contains a single plugin etc... feature license goes to http://www.example.com/license plugin details > More Info button is however correct 

3. start up in french

The following needs translation:
- Welcome
Operations > *
Couches > *
Fenetre > Preferences
Aide > Tips and Tricks
Aide > Submit Log...
Aide > Find and Install...

Setting up map
1. confirm create new map using file menu results in "Map 1"
Failed map is called "Map"
2. tried using style dialog on bc_parks_2001
Can no longer close the style editor .. clicking close results in stack trace

Closing the dialog does work.

Projection list as default (4296) no longer functions as such.
WMS Reprojection does however work, does produce a warning "Server does not support current projection so the accuracy may be off. Zoom in or change the map's projection. 

Search
- "bird" check
-  "radar" check
- "landsat" check, but only on the second attempt (first attempt had no response, I was able to cancel and try again) Although it came up in the search "landsat' and right click add 'Landsat 7 Orthorectified Imagery over Canada - band 743' could not be added to any map. The stack trace shows: "This resource (L7O_B743:CEOWARE2:CCRS/CCT:CITS-Sherbrooke) is not a part of the service. This is likely caused by inconsistent data returned by a search."
This message should be made avaialble some how, possible as a warning on the search result GeoResource that was added to the map. 

Editing worked like a charm!
But when deleting a feature the screen was not refreshed.... assume postgis events missed that one.
And the first feature that "used to work" ... the last check is to DnD a shapefile from the internet. - http://svn.geotools.org/udig/trunk/plugins/net.refractions.udig.catalog.tests.ui/data/lakes.shp 

This no longer works (indeed I cannot see add URL listed anymore)
