[udig-devel] [jira] Erstellt: (UDIG-747) Delete vs. Delete in the project view

Delete vs. Delete in the project view
-------------------------------------

         Key: UDIG-747
         URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/UDIG-747
     Project: uDIG
        Type: Bug

  Components: ui
    Versions: UDIG 1.1.M7
Environment: WinXP, JRE1.5, plus M7, M8 or SVN on 2006-06-07
    Reporter: Matthias Basler
    Priority: Trivial
     Fix For: UDIG 1.1

There are two rivalling "Delete" actions working in the context menu of the project view.
- The first one is translated (in my German version), has a red cross icon and deletes layers only.
- The second one is visible always, deletes everything (projects, maps, layers). It is untranslated but has the "Delete" key attached as shortcut.

The latter action is also visible if there isn't anything to delete, because (f.e.) the user has just cleared his/her workspace. In this case it produces the error message on the console.
  Unhandled event loop exception
  Reason:
  java.lang.NullPointerException
