Re: [tycho-user] [tycho-dev] Please re-test staged Tycho 1.7.0 - !!!yet another new staging repo!!!

Hi Mickael,

Thanks for continuing to push through on this, sorry I didn't have a chance to test earlier staged 1.7s.

This staged 1.7 works for CDT project. Thanks.

A couple of unexpected changes I see that I don't know if or how they should be documented. I don't see them in N&N but I can add them if you want.

- I now need ".polyglot.feature.xml" in my .gitignore so jgit timestamping works.
- The baseline compare and replace is now complaining about class file differences - this implies that something about the 1.6 -> 1.7 update changed how the class files are compiled. The effect is that along with upgrading tycho I need to version bump some of my bundles. I would guess this is because of the upgrade to ECJ that is mentioned in the N&N?
- N&N references the 1061 staged version still.

Hi all,

Please try the new staged version of Tycho towards 1.7.0 release The repo URL is . It addresses with a fix that looks good enough and working on 2.0.0-SNAPSHOT.
If you're not using JUnit 5, then there is no difference for you. If you do use JUnit 5, please verify this staging ASAP and report whether it works for you.
Unless a new blocker is found, the repo will be released on Tuesday.
