Alessio,
It sounds like Tycho can't reference the other project as it is not in
the same reactor.
Have you tried to tweak YourProject.parent by adding a reference to
the OtherProject.parent as module ?
As example, in my case, MyProject.parent/pom.xml is declaring the
OtherProject.parent/pom.xml as a module.
<modules>
<module>../MyProject</module>
<module>../OtherProject.parent</module>
<module>../MyProject.test</module>
<module>../MyProject.feature</module>
<module>../MyProject.repository</module>
</modules>
