Re: [tycho-user] Default <Finalname> not working?
|
Nobody needed this before, I guess. I am also not sure how finalName is
going to work for projects that produce multiple output files, like RCP
products, for example. Even for bundle projects, I am not sure how to
translate finalName to sources bundle name.

Igor,
Thanks. I don't need to dig any further for this project, but I'm
curious though, why?
Even if it is to ensure conformance to p2 naming requirements, I'd think
that the tycho-packaging-plugin and the tycho-source-plugin should still
conform to naming specifications - <finalName> .
What if I simply want to build the bundle? (Other components I'm
building are in that boat).

Don't worry about files under bundle project target/ folder, these are
temporary files used by Tycho during the build. Files under
<repository-project>/target/repository should have correct names
according to Eclipse naming convention regardless of <finalName>.
