Re: [tycho-dev] A Mojo to validate version consistency

Can you point at a wiki or any document that states that eclipse
projects cannot use opensource build tools developed outside of eclipse?

I was under impression that only code available from eclipse source or
binary distribution areas had to go through eclipse IP process.

Hi all,
Hi again.
The Mojo is here:
https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-maven-plugins/blob/master/tycho-plugins/repository-utils/src/main/java/org/jboss/tools/tycho/sitegenerator/CompareWithBaselineMojo.java
We'd like to start using this mojo for several Eclipse.org projects we
contribute to (THyM and SWTBot to get started). In order to be allowed
to use the Mojo, the simplest is that it becomes hosted by an
Eclipse.org project.
Should I create a Gerrit patch to include it in tycho-extras?

Cheers,
