Dear Eclipse Tractus-X Community,
In preparation for the upcoming Eclipse Tractus-X 26.06 test phase (Neptune Preview), the following guidelines regarding Tractus-X EDC versions are now finalized.
Minimum Version Requirement
Participation in the 26.06 test phase requires services to use at least
EDC version 0.11.x or higher
(current minor version EDC
0.11.2). Services still on EDC
0.10.x or lower
cannot be part of the testing and release cycle. This aligns with the Catena-X standard requirements for the upcoming CX-Neptune release.
Recommended Version
We recommend upgrading to EDC
0.12.0 or higher, which includes new features and resolves several issues present in the 0.11.x releases.
Upcoming Changes and PostgreSQL Upgrade
EDC 0.13.0-rc1 is currently in preparation and expected to be available in time for the 26.06 testing phase
as a developer preview. However, please note that this version will contain
breaking changes, including breaking Helm Chart adaptations and a beta of the upcoming Management API V4. It will also introduce support for PostgreSQL version 18.x, based on the Helm Charts from CloudPirates.
Timeline
Please check your current EDC version and upgrade if needed before the upcoming test phase. INT deployments for the test phase are planned from
Monday, May 11 to May 18, 2026 (date of 26.06 Test Kickoff).
