Dear Eclipse Tractus-X Community,


this is a friendly reminder that our Open Planning phase for Release 26.06 is ongoing. If you are planning to develop, improve, refactor, introduce, or deprecate anything as part of the upcoming release, please make sure your plans are shared transparently with the community.


Open Planning is essential for:

  • Transparency across Expert Groups and Committees
  • Early clarification of dependencies
  • Cross-component alignment
  • Avoiding late surprises during refinement and release planning


Where to Create Your Planning Items


All planning items must be created in the sig-release repository`. Please use one of the following templates:


And very important 👉 Don’t forget to add the label: Prep-R26.06 -> This ensures that your item is properly tracked and visible for the Release 26.06 preparation phase.


Welcome to All X Initiatives


We explicitly welcome all X Initiatives (e.g. Catena-X, Manufacturing-X, Factory-X and others) who would like to contribute to Release 26.06.

Even if you plan to:

  • Contribute a new KIT
  • Extend or modify an existing KIT
  • Provide product changes
  • Introduce cross-initiative features

👉 An issue in sig-release for planning and transparency is required. This is key to keeping our ecosystem aligned and predictable.
