[tractusx-dev] Project Lead Election for Mikel Garcia on Eclipse Tractus

A Project Lead election for Mikel Garcia on project Eclipse Tractus-X
(automotive.tractusx) was started by Mathias Brunkow Moser with this
criteria:

Mikel has been an active contributor to our community since August 2024,
taking responsibilities on his shoulders at several levels. Since February
2025, he has been a committer and has demonstrated strong leadership skills,
embodying the Eclipse Tractus-X community collaboration spirit in his daily
work across several products to which he contributes:

Mikel also expresses that spirit at our community events, proudly embracing
his committer role and openly showing his passion for Tractus-X. He cares
deeply about our community initiatives and the quality of our products;
therefore, he has taken over the Technical Leadership of the Umbrella
Implementation after Evelyn (previous project lead) left the project:

And is driving the updates from the umbrella to our latest releases,
supporting us increasing the quality of our code and is already leading the
community to work together.

He actively informs the community when there are problems with our services

Not only does he inform others, but he also proposes and implements solutions
— for example, when he actively updated our Helm Chart TRGs to support
CloudPirates with the issue regarding Bitnami, posting about it in the
mailing list:

Mikel, at our fourth Tractus-X Community Days, led and organized the
Dataspace Connectivity Workshop together with other committers:

He has also actively volunteered to support the community in organizing the
next Community Days (Fifth Eclipse Tractus-X Community Days), both at the
event/overall level and at a technical level with the infrastructure for the
workshops. And he is leading the Dataspace Connectivity this year again
together with other committers.

Now for the fifth TXCD (the next community event), he has taken the role of
organizer and moderator of the developer panel with me, bringing together
different developer stakeholders from our community.

Last but not least, regarding our Eclipse Tractus-X Community
internationalization strategy (to be announced at the community days), Mikel
will be our first international project lead and would support us in
expanding the project in Spain, finding new developers, and engaging in
community events on our behalf.

Therefore, it is an honor for me to nominate Mikel Garcia Bartolome as a
project lead, because of our objective of expanding our Eclipse Tractus-X
community globally, from his demonstrated servant leadership skills and his
community focus engagements.
