Dear Community (Committer),
The Eclipse Foundation has informed us that on June 9, 2025, they will
migrate from oss.sonatype.org to the new central.sonatype.org infrastructure for publishing artifacts to Maven Central — unless an opt-out is explicitly requested
by June 6, 2025.
We have not requested an opt-out, so unless a committer objects, we will be part of this
first migration wave.
After the migration, the affected project configurations will need to be adjusted, such as
(e.g.):
- Replacing
oss.sonatype.org with central.sonatype.org in deployment URLs
- Updating credentials in
settings.xml
- Adjusting GitHub Actions or other CI workflows that interact with Maven Central
Please check if your project uses direct deployment to Maven Central and plan to update your build configuration shortly after June 9.
