I would argue Michel is correct, that is the smart way to go, making a CTF generator.
If for whatever reason you cannot, just know that CTF is one of the many formats Trace Compass supports, you could make a proprietary plug-in in the incubator for your trace format, and have it not hosted on eclipse. This could just be a reader of the KEV file
format. I would call this approach less desirable as you would need to maintain the additional plug-in, but it's another possibility. Feel free to inspire yourself from the UFTrace plug-in, it probably has a similar architecture t what you want to do.

You may want to look at Babeltrace which can be used both as a library to generate CTF and as a framework to convert to / from CTF or other trace formats. There is also BareCTF, a smaller less flexible but simpler library to generate CTF files.
