Re: [tools-pmc] [CQ 8773] MinGw - as "works with" exception to full IP review

Hi Doug,

No, the multi-thread library is not used, the request is against the whole MinGW. The official MinGW (http://www.mingw.org/) is used.
MinGW is used to compile Titan into a Windows self-sufficient executable with limited functionality.
Some MinGW libraries are linked into this executable, as libxml2, openssl , regex. If you need the complete list of libraries I can dig into it.

I hope this answers your questions

BR Elemer

--- Comment #4 from Doug Schaefer <dschaefer@xxxxxxx> 2014-10-03 16:01:23 --- Just to clarify, is this a request against the multi-thread library and not all of MinGW? Which file out of the MinGW distribution are you talking about.

Also not all MinGW distributions are created equal. I know of two others than the official one from mingw.org, i.e. equation.com and MSYS2/mingw-64. Which one are you specifically using.
