Actually the new guidelines are to do that by RC1. We got rid of the arbitrary one month delay.

Yes. We are following the new guidelines which state that minor release should
not be contributed to an SRx release unless they have been out for at least one
month prior to RC1. We asked for an exception for SR1 and are trying to be good
this time :)
