+1. I know Anthony quite well having worked with him in the
past. He'll do a great job of firing us up.

Update - Jeff rightly pointed out
that my "offline" comment is not very transparent but I was in a hurry so I
thought I could save some keys... which I will now un-save . mea culpa.
Anthony Hunter is a long time Eclipse
committer and contributor, his contributions spanning from the very
early days before Eclipse was even called Eclipse. Anthony is IBM's lead
for the GEF project as well as committer on GMF and the Eclipse platform
projects. Anthony has demonstrated strong technical and
management skills in his Eclipse work and has *already* been participating in
Eclipse planning meetings on behalf of the Tools PMC . As his day job, he is
responsible for bringing Eclipse open source technology into IBM Rational
products so his work aligns well with making Eclipse successful. He will make
an excellent addition to the Tools PMC.
About time we made it official.
