I think it would hurt to just move Thym extension to Thym right now, before framework gets in Platform UI. However, I understand that the main Thym build wouldn't like to have a dependency to this repo (unless you find it ok?). So an idea would be to have it in the Thym source tree, but built separately in a 1st time.

My only concern is even after the Mars release I was hoping to keep our master Mars compatible until Mars +1 is out. Do you think we can have this as an optional dependency?

It could be kept as a separate bundle until Thym projects officially drops support for Mars.
