I am currently evaluating RTOS options for our autonomous driving SoC. I would like to inquire about a few specific topics:
- Could you please provide more details regarding ISO 26262 certification? Specifically, we are interested in the availability of certification kits, documentation, support services, licensing models (e.g.,
per-SoC or time-based), and associated pricing.
- Will future versions of ThreadX and ThreadX Modules support the Arm Cortex-R52 architecture? Additionally, we are considering using RISC-V-based processors for AMP or SMP configurations. What is the current
level of support for RISC-V vendors? If they are not supported, would we need to rely exclusively on the vendors listed at
https://threadx.io/services-and-support/?
- If we were to independently port ThreadX to Cortex-R52 or RISC-V, how should we approach the safety certification process in that case?
