[theia-dev] Release endgame

Dear Contributors,

as discussed in the dev call, the upcoming release is a bit special, as Theia AI will release "stable" and AI-powered Theia IDE "alpha", which will be announced in a press release. Therefore, we are today creating a pre-release (for this commit) and will already start to test.

If feasible, you can support this by:

- Joining the pre-release test (we will publish this in the discussion forum today)

- Do not merge high regression risk items between now and the final release

- Focus your time on stability and blocker issues for the final release
