Hi Team,
We've started a discussion about possibly migrating away from Yarn v1 for package management in Theia. Yarn v1 is outdated and has various known issues, and we should consider alternatives like npm or pnpm, each with different features and implications for our project.

We would also like to discuss this in our upcoming dev call on August 6th and ideally decide on this until the end of August.
