A committer election for William Riley on project Eclipse Babel (technology.babel) was started by Denis Roy with this criteria: William is a committer on the CDT project (https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/tools.cdt/who) and did the initial migration of CDT’s build jobs to Eclipse JIRO. William's contributions, to that end, are listed here: https://github.com/eclipse-cdt/cdt-infra/commits?author=Kummallinen As the Babel project is currently in peril, having tragically lost its project lead and with only one semi-active committer, it is imperative that Eclipse Babel recruit new, experienced committers to help modernize the build process. William is familiar with the EDP and is already an Eclipse committer and has a vested interest in the continued existence of the Babel project.
