Re: [technology-pmc] Fwd: [lsp4e-dev] Committer vote for Jonah Graham has concluded unsuccessfully

Michael,
Have you reached out to Michal to find out why he neglected to vote? Was it just an oversight?
I think it's a positive sign that the team is attempting to grow and I doubt any of the PMC members wants to stifle that. We do have precedence to count the nominator as an implied positive vote, so I am +1 with accepting the vote as having enough +1s (for the record, the original nomination email is at https://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/lsp4e-dev/msg00174.html).

At the same time, we should know if Michal is engaged enough as a committer; neglecting to vote is sign that he may not be, but that's just one piece of evidence among many. I suggest you follow up with him to make sure he's still engaged and committed (see what I did there :-)

Dear PMC,

This time, I'd like your assistance to complete this election.
I expected that with me nominating, Vlad +1'd and Michal not voting, it'd be a majority of committers approving and thus a successful election. It seems like I misunderstood something and now we're back in the state of Jonah election failing again.
I'd like to keep Michal as a committer, since he's been very active a few months ago, he deserves to remain a committer and I'd rather not remove him from committers just for one vote.
So can you please handle this and make sure this election moves forward for the continuous success of LSP4E?

Thanks in advance,
