Re: [technology-pmc] Making GSOC students to committers on recommenders.incubator project

+1, just like Konstantin said, just include a description of merit/contributions (i.e., link to commits/bug fixes) and you'll be set.

Hi Marcel,

I think that's great. There are projects which don't even require previous work/contributions for nominations to an incubator project. Just make sure that you follow the same rules for all nominations. In case you want to bring the code from GitHub into the incubator, IP reviews will be necessary. Please take that into account.

Hi PMC,

our GSOC students make quite nice progress this year. Some (if not all) want to continue their work after the GSOC and after 3 months of continuous work we'd like to give them commit rights to the Recommenders.Incubator project. At the same time I'd also like add the mentors of these GSOCs as committers so that they can continue their work over here at eclipse.org(most GSOC projects are currently hosted on github).

PMC, do you have any concerns giving a 3-6 people committer rights on the incubator project. Thought, I should ask before running into a veto :-)

Best,
Marcel
